(Cape Cod) Hiring School Bus Drivers in our Hyannis Terminal.

(Cape Cod) Hiring School Bus Technician/Mechanic in our Dennis-Yarmouth Terminal.

Requirements
What you need – To become a school bus driver, you will first need to obtain a Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP). The learner’s permit,, along with endorsements to drive passengers and school buses will allow you to start the process to become a school bus driver.
Endorsements needed – (P) – Passenger Transport, (S) – School Bus, and Air Brakes.
School Bus Driver Certificate from the Department of Public Utilities (DPU), and is coordinated through Five Star Bus. We will sign off once you have completed the required training.
Have (3) three continuous years of driving.
Pass a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check.
Pass a Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI) check.
Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
Have a clean driving record from the Mass RMV.
Get Fingerprinted for State of MA. We assist with this.
Pass First Aid & CPR Training. We assist with this.
Pass the required RMV written exams which are for Commercial Drivers License (CDL), Passenger Transport (P), School Bus (S) and Air brakes.
Pass a DPU road test. The DPU administers the licensing and Road Testing for all CDL School Bus drivers.

Obtain CDL Study Guide from Mass RMV and study for your written CDL knowledge test, and endorsements P, S, and air brakes.
Go to any RMV Branch and take the knowledge test for CDL License, (P), (S) and Air Brake Endorsements.
Visit a Five Star Bus Terminal for an interview and turn in Application. This will begin the process of obtaining the sixty (60) hours of Free CDL Training to get your CDL license with endorsement (P),(S), and Air brakes. A One (1) Year Employment Agreement is in place to help recoup some of the high costs of training and getting the license.
